6.3 Using the combination programme
The microwave has 3 combination programmes:

1. Place the food to be heated on the turntable in a heat-resistant container.
2. Close the door.
3. Turn the power/grill control dial to the desired combination mode.
4. Turn the cooking time/weight control dial to set the desired cooking time.
 Cooking begins. It ends when the cooking time/weight control dial
points to “0”.
5. Let the food rest a few minutes so that the heat can be distributed
evenly in the food.
6.4 Thawing foods and liquids
1. Place the food to be thawed on the turntable in a microwave-safe con-
tainer (►„Selecting cookware“ on page 25).
2. Close the door.
3. Turn the power control dial to 250 W or

4. Turn the cooking time/weight control dial to the weight of the food/liquid.
 The microwave begins thawing. It ends thawing when the cooking
time/weight control dial points to “0”.
TIP:
So that the food/liquid is thawed evenly, after half
the cooking time you should open the door, turn or
stir the food or liquid, and close the door again.
6.5 Pausing/cancelling cooking
Open the door to pause cooking.
Close the door again to continue cooking.
Turn the cooking time/weight control dial by hand to “0” to interrupt cooking.
