Why is the lift performance of my SFA Pro-Lift PL2920 poor?
    • M
      Miss Summer BauerJul 29, 2025
If your SFA Jacks product isn't lifting properly, it could be due to a few reasons. First, check that the fluid level is correct. Also, there might be air trapped in the system. In this case, with the saddle fully lowered, follow the instructions for bleeding air. If these steps don't improve performance, the hydraulic unit may be malfunctioning, and you should contact Customer Support.

How to troubleshoot SFA Pro-Lift PL2920 that will not lift a load?
    • K
      Kirsten HowardAug 3, 2025
If your SFA Jacks product will not lift a load, make sure the release valve is completely closed by turning it clockwise until you feel resistance using the provided handle. It's also possible that the load is too heavy for the jack, so you may need to use a jack with a higher capacity.

What to do if the SFA Jacks saddle creeps up after releasing the load?
    • R
      Randy FloresAug 18, 2025
If the jack saddle of your SFA Jacks product creeps up after being released from contact with the load, it could be due to air trapped in the system. If the jack saddle is not in contact with a lifted load, remove the jack and follow the instructions for bleeding air from the system. If there is loaded contact between the saddle and a raised vehicle, stop, use another jack to raise the vehicle high enough to re-install jack stands. Remove the affected jack and jack stands. Using a functioning jack, lower the load, then follow the instructions for bleeding air from the system.

Why is fluid leaking or the jack saddle not descending on my SFA Pro-Lift PL2920?
    • G
      Gregory GrayAug 23, 2025
If fluid leaks from the reservoir area of your SFA Jacks product, or the jack saddle won't descend to its lowest height, it could be because the reservoir is overfilled. Drain the fluid to the correct level. Alternatively, the ram plunger/cylinder might be deformed or seized, possibly from off-center loading, in which case you should contact Customer Support.
