Avoid overloading, use on level ground, lock components before lifting, and check nuts/bolts for tightness.
Ram is for lifting only. Purge hydraulic system of air for proper function.
Secure legs with bolts when storing to prevent tipping.
Use correct hydraulic oil, keep system clean, check ram for rust, and store jib lowered.
To raise load, close release valve by turning handle clockwise until snug.
To lower load, open release valve counter-clockwise slowly to control speed.
Address issues like not holding load or poor lifting by checking valve seats, oil level, and air in system.
If unit won't lower completely, release air from the hydraulic pump and lubricate moving parts.
