Hold LIGHT KEY for 1.5s to lock/unlock all keys except PTT/LIGHT. 'KEY' icon appears.
Press to transmit. Prohibited on weather or non-transmit channels, with warning.
Long press (1.5s+) stores current channel; re-pressing deletes if already stored.
Hold 16/9 KEY for 1.5s to program. Toggles between channels 16 and 9.
Hold MEM key while turning off radio to clear all memory and reset to factory defaults.
'BAT' displayed indicates low power. Recharge or replace batteries promptly.
Use supplied charger only. Charge battery inside radio. Do not connect power directly.
Do not dispose of battery in fire, short circuit, or insert backwards. Risk of injury.
Turn radio OFF when 'LOW BATTERY' flashes. Do not leave radio ON to fully discharge.
