What to do if my Shark SharkFlex HV390 is not picking up debris?
    • S
      Shelly GordonJul 28, 2025
If your Shark Vacuum Cleaner isn't picking up debris and has no or light suction, try these steps: * Check the filters and clean them if necessary. Make sure to rinse and completely air-dry the filters before putting them back in the vacuum. * Empty the dust cup, as it may be full. * Check the floor nozzle for any blockages and clear them. * Remove any string, carpet fibers, or hair wrapped around the brushroll and Soft Roller or trapped behind the Soft Roller.

Why does my Shark Vacuum Cleaner turn off on its own?
    • J
      Justin HallAug 6, 2025
Your Shark Vacuum Cleaner may turn off on its own because it overheats. This vacuum is equipped with a motor-protective thermostat that shuts it off when it overheats. To restart it: 1. Turn off and unplug the vacuum. 2. Empty the dust cup and clean the filters. 3. Check for blockages in the hose, accessories, and inlet openings. 4. Let the unit cool down for at least 45 minutes. 5. Plug in the vacuum and turn it on.

How to fix a Shark SharkFlex HV390 brushroll that does not spin?
    • E
      emma01Aug 17, 2025
If the Brushroll Indicator Light on the floor nozzle turns red, the brushroll and/or Soft Roller have stopped spinning. Immediately turn off and unplug the vacuum and remove the blockage before reconnecting and turning the vacuum back on. If the Brushroll Indicator Light on the floor nozzle is green, the blockage has been successfully cleared. If the nozzle LED headlights are flashing, this means the brushroll garage is not completely closed. Turn off and unplug the vacuum. Ensure the brushroll garage is locked by inserting the tabs at the top and pressing down on both sides of the garage until it clicks into place.
