Octal system mode (OCT) :
Press the ~ and OCT keys.
• To show that the calculator is set in the octal system, the ~ symbol
appears.
• In this mode each column can have a value from O - 7. Thus, only the keys
[QJ - [f] are val id. The (]] and rn keys become invai id.
Decimai system mode (Normai mode, DEC) :
Press the ~ and foe9 keys.
• In this mode the following symbols do not appear : ITml , ~ , and IIlJJ .
• In normai mode each column can have the value O - 9 .
• In this mode scientific calculations can be performed.
Hexadecimal system mode (HEX) :
Press the ~ and ~ keys.
• To show that the calculator is set in the hexadecimal system, the [IlJJ symbol
appears.
