Pow] Power on key
When this key is depressed, the calculator is turned on.
Automatic Power-Off function (A.P.O.):
This calculator is autom atically turned off approxim ately 5 ~ 8 m inutes after the last key operation to save your
batteries.
lOFFl Power off key
When this key is depressed, the calculator is turned off.
Mode selector
AER: Algebraic Expression Reserve mode
This m ode is used for placing algebraic form ulas into the calculator.
In this m ode, a calculation can not be performed.
C O M P : Com pute mode
This m ode perm its the calculator to perform (except for statistical calculation) all standard calculations
including four arithmetic calculations and scientific calculations and calculations that use algebraic
form ulas from the A E R mode.
STAT: Statistical calculations m ode
The statistical program will be activated.
This m ode is operated completely independently of the A E R mode.
