Mastering the Calculator using the Sharp EL-531LH 23
To make sure memory is clear, first press
or
and make sure you are in normal calculation mode [may need to press mode 0].
A small M appears in the display when you put something in memory.
To do the calculation above, press the following keys
- this puts the first term (3.0625) into the memory
then press
- this adds the second term (3.0625) into memory
then press
- this adds the third term 0.0625 to memory.
To find the answer press
The answer should be 6.1875.
Note: • For the Sharp EL-531GH, just pressing gives you the answer to the
above calculation.
• To clear memory, press and ‘M’ will disappear.
• To store a number in memory, press after the number and pressing
will recall the number.
