Overview
These instructions are provided to update the firmware for your LC-43Q3000U LED TV. Once you’ve
successfully completed the steps, then the issues that were found will be resolved.
Instructions for the Firmware Update
1. Copy the USB_HU43N2173F_REF68.bin file into a USB thumb drive root directory.
IMPORTANT: Do not modify the file.
Note: The USB thumb drive file system needs to be FAT32.

2. Power on the TV.

Plug the USB thumb drive into the USB port that’s located on the side of the TV.

Select No when the dialogue message “Do you want to launch the Multimedia Player?”
displays.

5. Press the Menu Button on the TV remote located on the top right. Next, go to
Settings About TV.

Power on the TV, plug the USB drive into the TV's USB port, and select 'No' to the multimedia player prompt.

Navigate to Update Menu

Press the Menu Button on the remote, then navigate to Settings > About TV.

Select USB Firmware Upgrade

In the About TV menu, select 'USB Firmware Upgrade' and confirm the action by selecting OK.

Complete and Verify Update

Wait for the update to finish, do not remove the USB or power off the TV, then verify the new version.

Factory Reset for Persistent Issues

If issues persist after the update, perform a factory reset via Settings > About TV > Restore To Factory Default.
