■ Hold function
The present operation can be kept even if buttons are acciden-
tally pressed in a place such as a crowded train. (The main unit
and the remote control function respectively.)
Main unit
Hold down the HOLD button for 2 seconds or more and check
that “on” is displayed.
To cancel the hold function:
Hold down the HOLD button for 2 seconds or more while the
hold function is activated.
Remote control
To put the unit in the malfunction prevention state, move the
HOLD switch.
To cancel the hold function:
Slide the HOLD switch back to its original position.
■ Changing default settings
1. Insert a MiniDisc.
2. While in the stop mode, press the
M
button.
The unit enters the menu select mode.
