Why are my floors cloudy after using the Sharp S7000UK?
    • A

If your floors appear cloudy, streaky, or spotty after using the Sharp Steam Cleaner, the cleaning pad might be dirty, so try changing it. If you washed the cleaning pad with powder detergent, it could be damaged and require replacement. This issue could also indicate prior soap or grease residue on the floor. Because our steam mops use only a small amount of water, it may not be wet enough to rinse off the accumulation that the steam is bringing to the surface. In this case, rinse the floor with water only, let it dry, and then steam mop again with a clean pad. For stubborn cases, rinse the floor with a mix of one part vinegar and two parts water.

If your Sharp Steam Cleaner isn't producing steam, first check if there's water in the water tank. If not, add water to your steam mop. When using the unit in the handheld mode, ensure that you are holding the handheld unit horizontally to optimize the steam output. If the unit still does not make steam, follow the instructions on page 13 to clean the nozzle.
