reduces the heat output by half. On very cold days this may not be practical to
reduce the heat level, larger rooms and open spaces may also find the low heat

7. To completely shut the heater off, turn all the controls to OFF, and remove plug
from the socket-outlet.
Overheat Safety Device
A thermal overload protector is built in to prevent overheating. When an overheat
temperature is reached, the heater will be automatically shut off. It can only
resume operation when the user resets the unit.
If this should happen:
o If the heater does not switch on, the safety device has been activated.
Remove the mains plug from the wall socket.
o Let the heater cool down for 30 minutes.
o Check if the heater had been placed correctly and check if anything is
obstructing the air flow. If necessary, clean the grilles with a vacuum
cleaner.
Replace the plug into the wall socket and switch the heater on again.
If the safety device again switches off the heater:
o Remove the mains plug from the wall socket.
o Have the heater inspected by a Service Centre or by your dealer.
