CM-1000 BASIC OPERATION
1. BEFORE POWERING UP YOUR SHIMANO SPORT CAMERA:

Unlock and open the back cover, using the
USB cable included connect to power source
and completely charge the unit, insert a Micro
SD/SDHC card (not shipped with camera),
close hatch and
ensure the lock/unlock
switch is returned to the lock position.
** Micro SD/SDHC Card - Class 6 or higher
and maximum of 32gb capacity.
There are two ways to power up your
Shimano Sport Camera.
1) Press and hold the MODE button until two-
beeps sound - this puts the unit on “stand
by” for further user input i.e. setting up WIFI,
selecting shooting modes and recording.
2) Press and hold the RECORD button for 1
second - this will power up the unit directly in
to RECORD mode.
A continuous “beeb” will sound and red light flash on the LED display if card
not installed correctly on start up.
When the camera is first powered up the LED lights will indicate battery levels (left)
and available space left on memory card (right). See below.

Provides estimated recording times based on SD card size (e.g., 120 mins for 4GB).

Changing Shooting Modes

Selecting Shooting Modes

Press MODE button to toggle through preset shooting modes or use the App.

Available Shooting Modes

Options include Full HD (1920x1080/30fps), HD (1280x720/120fps), WVGA, and PHOTO.

Camera Reset Procedure

Hold MODE and RECORD for 10 seconds to reset if the camera freezes.

Capturing and Recording

Starting and Stopping Recording

Press RECORD to start (red LED flash) and press again to stop.

Taking Still Photographs

In photo mode, press RECORD for a 'shutter' sound and a still image.

File Format and App Features

Records in .MOV format; App offers view, edit, save, and delete functions.

App Availability

The app is available for download on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android).

App Functionality Overview

The app allows viewing, reviewing, changing settings, deleting, and saving footage.

Connecting Camera to Wi-Fi Device

Activating Camera Wi-Fi

Hold MODE for two seconds to activate Wi-Fi, indicated by flashing green LEDs.

Connecting to Camera Wi-Fi

On your device, select the camera's Wi-Fi network and enter the password.

Wi-Fi Connection Password

The password is 'SHIMANO_Cam' (case sensitive).
