Why does my Shop-Vac H87 lose suction or run hot?

If the suction of your Shop-Vac Vacuum Cleaner weakens or the cleaner runs hot, it could be due to a clogged filter. Try brushing the dirt from the filter. If the issue persists, replace the filter. Another possible cause is an air leak. Ensure all fittings, such as nozzles and the hose, are tightly fitted, and verify that the tank cover is properly sealed. Also, check the nozzle, hose, and other components for any obstructions and remove them if found.
