Why does my Shop-Vac QF lose suction or run hot?

If your Shop-Vac Vacuum Cleaner experiences weakening suction or runs hot, several factors could be at play. First, a clogged filter could be the culprit; try brushing dirt from the filter, and replace it if the problem persists. An air leak could also be the cause; ensure all fittings (nozzles, hose, etc.) are tightly fitted and that the tank cover is properly sealed. Lastly, check for any obstructions in the hose or nozzle and remove them.
