Function Description:

The SA-LH08 is a gas spring-powered desk mount that allows users to position their monitor or laptop at an optimal viewing angle and height. It features a robust design with various adjustment capabilities to suit individual preferences and desk setups. The gas spring system enables smooth and effortless adjustments, ensuring that the mounted screen stays in the desired position. Usage Features:

Installation Options:
- Clamp Installation: Suitable for desks with edges. The clamp can be adjusted for desk thicknesses up to 60mm. For thicker desks (up to 85mm), the clamp screw and bottom plate can be reattached upside-down.
- Grommet Installation: Ideal for desks with existing grommet holes or where drilling a hole is preferred. This method supports desk thicknesses up to 60mm.
Arm Installation: The extension arms are attached to the pole, and the spring arms are then mounted onto the extension arms. Height adjustment rings allow for securing the mount at the desired height.
VESA Plate Adjustment: The VESA plate, which connects to the monitor, can be rotated 360° to ensure the mounting holes face upwards after the arm is installed. This allows for easy attachment of the monitor or laptop tray.
Monitor Installation: Monitors are attached to the VESA plate using suitable M4 screws (M4x8, M4x12, M4x30) and a 4mm Hex Wrench. Spacers are provided for monitors with uneven backs or recessed mounting holes.
Gas Spring Tension Adjustment: This is a critical feature for ensuring the monitor stays in place. After installing the monitor or laptop, the gas spring tension needs to be adjusted.
- Procedure: Press the arm down to a horizontal position.
- Downward Movement (Arm is dropping): Turn the adjustment screw counter-clockwise to INCREASE tension.
- Upward Movement (Arm is rising): Turn the adjustment screw clockwise to REDUCE tension.
- A 5mm Hex Wrench is used for this adjustment. Multiple turns may be required to achieve the desired tension.
Tilt & Swivel Adjustment:
- Tilt Adjustment: If the monitor is dropping, tighten the VESA Tilt Adjustment Bolt (using a 5mm Hex Wrench) until the monitor stays upright.
- Swivel Adjustment: The arm swivel screws, located at the joint of the arms, can be tightened to add friction if the arm moves too easily, or loosened for smoother movements if the arm is too stiff. A 3mm Hex Wrench is used for this.
Cable Management: Integrated cable management clips along the pole help organize and conceal cables, contributing to a cleaner workspace. A cable clip can also be used to store wrenches when not in use.

Maintenance Features:

Regular Inspection: Users are advised to regularly check for missing or damaged parts. In such cases, contacting the local service center for warranty service is recommended.
Tension Adjustment: The gas spring tension may need occasional readjustment, especially if the weight of the mounted device changes or if the arm starts to drift from its set position.
Friction Adjustment: The swivel joints can be adjusted to maintain the desired level of friction for smooth or firm movements over time.
