Maintenance Features:

  • Servicing: Recommended every 12 months by an authorized Shoprider service provider to ensure safe working order. Heavy users may require more frequent servicing.
  • Lubrication: At six-month intervals, lubricate the seat pivot post, seat release lever pinion, wheel bearings, and axle of the scooter with a light oil. Caution: Do not use WD40 or lubricate the transaxle/gear box.
  • Cleaning: Clean as required using a soft damp cloth and mild detergents. Avoid using a hose or abrasive cleaning products.
  • Wheels and Tires: The wheels have split rims for easy tire changes. Tire pressure should be maintained at the correct pressure (30 psi for rear tires, 25 psi for front tires). Maximum tire pressure is 50 psi.
  • Battery Charging: Batteries should be charged daily after use. Use only the original Shoprider® approved charger in a well-ventilated area. Charging may take up to 14 hours for first-time use.
  • Circuit Breaker: The scooter is equipped with a circuit breaker to protect the electrical system from overloads.
  • Front Bumper and Front Light Cover Procedure: Detailed steps are provided for removing and installing the front bumper bracket, tightening bolts and nuts, assembling the upper front cover, installing the LED headlight, tightening studs, and connecting indicator terminals.

Safety Advice:

  • Always read the owner's manual before driving.
  • Do not carry passengers.
  • Do not exceed inclines over 9 degrees (15% grade).
  • Driver weight must not exceed the unit's speed limit.
  • Do not get on or off the scooter unless the brake is on and the scooter is switched off.
  • Do not switch off the scooter while it is moving.
  • Do not drive the scooter where you cannot safely or legally walk.
  • Do not attempt to drive over curbs greater than 6.5cm in height.
  • Do not drink or use a mobile phone while driving.
  • Do not exceed the suggested user weight limit.
  • Always keep your feet on the scooter when moving.
  • Ensure you are physically capable of operating the unit.
  • Slow down and proceed carefully when traveling over rough or uneven ground.
  • Do not use an escalator.
  • Do not drive the scooter on an incline that has oil, water, or ice film.
  • Do not try to lift the scooter by its seat, tiller, rear chassis cover, or any removable parts.
  • Do not use parts or accessories not authorized by the original manufacturer.
  • Always remove the key from the ignition when not in use or before charging/removing batteries.
  • Do not connect any foreign device to the battery or charging port.
  • Ensure the tiller is properly adjusted and locked.
  • Do not have any person sitting in the scooter when transported by a vehicle.
  • Do not use the scooter in the rain, near a shower, or in a damp bathroom.
  • Do not lean against or pull forward on the tiller while mounting or dismounting.
  • Do not operate the unit or turn the key on while charging.
  • Replace loosened wheel assembly center bolts with specified new bolts and secure with Loctite 271 adhesive.
  • Battery cables must be securely fastened and secured inside the rear cover.
  • Batteries must be tied down correctly and securely.
  • Always check the battery charge before operating.
  • If the unit went over or sank into deep water, switch off power and consult an authorized dealer.
  • Do not operate the unit beyond its specifications, as this may void the warranty.
  • Do not use the thumb/finger lever before the key switch is turned on.
  • Ensure the scooter is serviced every 12 months.
