let’s figure out how these blinky lights work…
• is flashing blue – you’re ready to connect to pure
Bluetooth bliss
• is glowing solid blue – you have successfully paired
your device to the shoX gold. well done grasshopper
• is green (aux cable connected) you’re in “get wired”
mode
• is orange (usb connected)
• is red – you’re in “power up” mode (charging your
shoX gold)
now you’re golden
3. hook a brother up
(pairing different devices)
first things first, make sure you are in Bluetooth source;
using the “stby/source” button. The blinky light thingy will
be flashing. when you are connected, the light will stop
flashing. make sure your device and your shoX gold are
within 1 metre of each other
iphones & ipads
• go to general -> Bluetooth & gracefully swipe it to the
“on” position
• shoX gold will become discoverable, touch to connect
• is the blinky light thingy glowing a solid blue? it is?

other cellphones & tablets
• turn your bluetooth on and search for “shoX gold”
• if you’re prompted for a password, enter “0000”
• check your Bluetooth device list & connect with your
shoX gold
1. let’s get funky
(turning on/off your shoX gold + button control)
it’s time for the gold to shine. don’t worry, you got this. just
press the “stby/source” button on the top of your shoX
gold. now a blue light should be flashing next to
“Bluetooth”. see it? great! so you want to switch between
Bluetooth, aux & usb? simply press the “stby/source”
button. turn it off by holding down the “stby/source” button
for 3 seconds.
now a bit more about those stylish track controls and
analogue dials:
play or pause your beats / hold down to disconnect
Bluetooth connection in “Bluetooth” mode
press to skip to the next track/ press & hold to go back
one track
volume dial – to pump up or tone down those tunes
bass dial – for those songs that are all about that bass
treble dial – to control the treble of your tracks
