What to do if Shur-Co Automobile Accessories SMART™ Remote is blinking and not working?

  If the SMART™ Remote for your Shur-Co Automobile Accessories isn't working, and the channel light is blinking faster when you press the Open/On button, ensure the remote is set to the correct channel. The remote may need reprogramming. Also, try using the remote within a couple of feet of the receiver. A new battery may be needed. If it works at short range but not at greater distances, you have a range problem.

  If your Shur-Co Automobile Accessories system won't operate with either the rocker switch or the SMART™ Remote, but you hear a clicking noise, verify you have at least 12V on the back side of the receiver on the battery hookup posts.

  If the rocker switch on your Shur-Co Automobile Accessories is sticking, check it for excessive dirt, rocks, or other objects. The receiver may be pressure washed, but keep nozzle at least 3' from system while spraying.
