preferably lubricated (only with silicon grease) before
repositioning it (Fig. 3).
Remove the sponges and wash them under running
water.
Remove the grille on the bottom of the lter and rinse
it out under running water

Wash bio-balls only once a year so to allow the
biological ltration not to be interrupted

Then reassemble the lter following the above
procedures in reverse order.
PLEASE, OIL PERIODICALLY THE METAL RODS
WITH THE OIL INCLUDED SO TO AVOID FRICTION
OR BREAKING OF THE SAME.
Winter season - The lter must be protected from
frost. During the winter season the lter should should
be switched off, emptied of all water, removed from
the garden and stored in a dry, sheltered place. It is
recommended to leave the lter open during storage.
UV-C lamp replacement
CAUTION: The replacement of the UV-C lamp has to
be done only by specialized personnel staff.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CORRECT DISCHARGE
OF THE PRODUCT ACCORDING TO EU DIRECTI-
VE 2002/96/EC
When used or broken, the product does not have to be
discharged with the other waste. It can be delivered
to the specic electric waste collection centres or to
dealers who give this service. Discharge separately an
electric tool avoid negative consequences for the en-
vironment and for the Health and allows to regenerate
the materials so to have a great saving of energy and
resources.
WARRANTY
This product is guaranteed against defects of mate-
rials and workmanship for a period of 3 years from the
date of purchase, except the UV-C lamp and the O-
rings. The warranty certicate must be lled in by the
dealer and must accompany the pump if it is returned
for reparation, along with the cash register receipt or
similar document. The warranty covers the replace-
ment of the defective parts. In case of improper use,
tampering or negligence by the buyer or user, the gua-
rantee is void and expires immediately. The guarantee
is also void in absence of the cash register receipt or
similar document. The expenses for shipping the pro-
duct to and from the factory, or the repair station, have
to be paid by the buyer.

2. If everything is working and the water normally ows
through the lter, connect the plug of the UV-C Lamp and
verify that it is on through the light indicator (g. 1/E).
3. The lter can work 24 hours/day for the entire year
except if the temperature drops below 4°C. To avoid
damages, unplug the power and empty completely the
lter.
CONNECTING THE HOSES
The GREEN RESET lter requires three exible tubes
which are not included. One to connect the pump with
the inlet coupling (g. 1/A), another to ush the clean
water from the lter outlet (g. 1/B) back to the pond.
Another to connect the drainpipe (g. 1/C) dirty wa-
ter when sponges cleaning is done. This water can be
used as fertilizer. When installing Green Reset lter, it
is important that the exible hoses diameters are cor-
rectly sized. This will allow the pump to obtain maxi-
mum water ow performances. Always fasten the ho-
ses to the couplings with metal clamps (not included).
CLEANING OF THE SPONGES WITH THE SELF
CLEANING SYSTEM
GREEN RESET is equipped with a self-cleaning
system, that allows to clean the sponges without
opening the lter.
Proceed as follows:
Lift completely the handle on the top of the lter (g.
4).
• Turn both the hand grips from the position “FILTER”
to the position “CLEAN” clockwise or anticlockwise
until the writing CLEAN corresponds to the small hole
in the handle (g. 5).
Remove the cap (g. 6/A) from the debris outlet,
connect the stepped hose connector (g. 6/B) and
a exible tube (not compulsory). Position the tube
towards the plants/owers you would like to fertilize.
Turn clockwise, with strength, the ow selector handle
to the “CLEAN” position (g 7).
• Push up and down the top handle (g. 8) to squeeze
the sponges. Repeat this operation until clean water
come out from the lter. When cleaning is completed,
rell the pond as you like.
To settle the lter for normal operation, lift up
completely the top handle (g. 9/F).
Turn both the hand grips from “CLEAN” position to
“FILTER” position (g. 10/G).
• Lower completely the top handle (g. 8/F).
Turn the ow selector handle anticlockwise to the
“FILTER” position (g. 11/F).
Remove the stepped hose connector (g. 6/L) from the
debris outlet and close it with the original cap (g. 6/I).
If the lter, after cleaning operations, is still blocked,
proceed with the lter maintenance.
FILTER MAINTENANCE
Cleaning and replacement of sponges.
The maintenance of the lter has to be done only if the
self-cleaning system cannot fully clean the sponges
because they are worn out or blocked.
CAUTION: Always disconnect the lter from the power
supply before any maintenance operations.
Do not open the V-band (g. 1/M) before having
unplugged the pump and UV-C lamp.
The cap of the UV-C lamp compartment can be
opened only by specialized personnel.
• Open the V-band (g. 1/M).
Remove the lter dome with special care to do not
damage the OR gasket. This should be washed and
