Be
sure
all
phase
barriers
are
correctly
installed
.

Clean
any
excessive
amounts
of
dust
and
dirt
that
may
have
accumulated
if
the
contactor
has
been
in
storage
.

.
Connect
only
test
power
and
operate
the
contactor
electrically
several
times
.
The
contactor
should
pick
up
and
seal
cleanly
at
85
%
to
110
%
of
rated
control
voltage
(
see
Operating
Data
)
.
The
contactor
may
now
be
placed
in
service
by
connecting
main
incoming
power
.
The
contactor
must
be
appropriately
guarded
or
isolated
before
energizing
the
medium
voltage
circuit
.
