Troubleshooting Minor Faults

Repairs must only be carried out by our Customer
Service or an authorized technician.
If repairs are needed, and assuming that you cannot
eliminate the fault yourself with the aid the following
table:
q Turn the programme selector to Off".
q Disconnect the washing machine from the mains.
q Turn off the water tap.
q Call Customer Service (refer to Page 38).
Fault Cause Action
Lid cannot be opened.
"" selected. Select "Pumping" or "Spin " or set
programme selector to "Off".
Safety function active. Wait 2 minutes.
Detergent is not
dispensed from
dispenser I.
Programme without prewash
selected.
Select "Cottons/colourds 60 °C
+ Prewash".
Detergent residue in the
detergent dispensers.
Damp or lumpy detergent.
Dry detergent dispensers before
filling with detergent.
Use the dispensing aid for liquid
detergent.
Insert for liquid detergent pressed
down.
Reposition the insert for washing
powder.
