The washer dryer was tested before leaving the factory.
Toâremove any water left over from testing proce dures, the
first cycle should be carried out without any laundry with Fluff

Sort and load the laundry (drying)
Only dry laundry that is labelled with the following care symbols:
( = tumble-dry at normal heat setting (Intensive Dry 7).
'c= tumble-dry at low heat set ting (Low Heat Dryc8).
The following textiles should not be tu mble-dried:
) = do not tumble-dry care symbol.
Woollens or items containing wool. Risk of shrinking!
Delicate fabric (silk, synthetic net cu rtain). Risk of creasing!
Items containing foam rubber or similar material.
Items which have been treated with flammable solvents, such as stain
removers, petrol, paint thinners. Explosion hazar d!
Items still containing hair lacqu er or similar substances.
Dangerous vapours!
Do not exceed the maximum drying load. aPage 7

Sort and load the laundry
Observe the care infor mation provided by the manufacturer.
Sort according to the in formation on the care labels.
Sort according to typ e, colour, soiling and temperature.
Remove any foreign o bjects – risk of rusting.

Load both large and sm all items of washing.
Close the washer dryer door. Take care not to trap any items of clothing between the
loading door and rubber seal.
Add detergent and care product
Add the appropriate dose according to: Amount of washing, soiling, water hardness
(ask your water supply company) and m anufacturer’s instructions.
Models without inse rt for liquid detergent: pour liquid deterge nt into an appropriate
compartment and place in the drum.
Use commercially avai lable low foam detergents for washer dryer only.
During operation: close th e detergent drawer!
Correct installation according to separate Installation
and maintenance instructions.
Check the machine
Never switch on a d amaged machine!
Inform your customer service!
Insert mains plug
With dry hands only!
Take hold of the plug only!
Turn on the tap
At the end of the dry ing programme there is an
automatic cleaning fluff process, turn on the water
tap even if a drying programme is sel ected.
Provide good ventilation
Good ventilation is required to extract air produ ced
during drying.
Keep the installation room well ventilated.
Clean the air inlet fil ter regularly.
Do not block the air inlet and/or air outlet.

Compartment I: Detergent for pre-wash
Intended use
ʋFor domestic use only.
ʋFor the washing of machine-washable fabric s in a detergent
solution.
ʋTo be operated with cold mains water and commercially available
low foam detergents and care products which are suitable for use
in front loaded washer dryer.
Do not leave children unattended near the washer dryer.
Keep pets away from the washer dryer !
The washer dryer is not to be used by children or persons
not familiar with the operating instructions .
Install and operate the washer dryer in a room with a drain.
In order to ensure your safety, you must plug the cable into
a socket which has a reliable earth conn ection.
Removing laundry
Open washer dryer door and remove laundry.
Leave the washer dryer door and dete rgent drawer open so that any residual
water can evaporate!
Turn off the tap
Not required for Aqua-Stop models. a

(the default sp in speed can be changed in advance).

released. You can remove th e laundry.

Touch Start/Reload button to co ntinue the pro gramme.
The pau se function ca nnot be activ ated during d rying phase.

Important information

Washing drying p reparing/Protectin g the laundry an d the machine
Empt y pockets.
Look out for metal items (papercl ips, etc.).
Trous ers, knitwear and knitted t extiles, e.g. Je rsey garment s, T-shirts or sw eatshirts sho uld
be turned insid e out.
Ensu re that unde rwired bras ar e machine wa shable.
Was h delicates in a net/bag (tigh ts, curtains , underwired b ras).
Fasten zips, do up any buttons.
Brus h sand out of p ockets and collars.
Rem ove curtain hoo ks or place curtains in a net/bag.
Use o nly tumble-d ry textiles if yo u select drying .
Befo re tumble-dryin g, handwas h items should be spun us ing the approp riate spin spee d.
Rem ove as much w ater as poss ible before tum ble-drying. Re commended spin speed for
cottons is mor e than 1000 rpm; for easy- care is more than 800 rpm.
In ord er to ensure uniform drying , sort the item s according to fabric type and degree
ofâdrying requ ired.
Items which requir e ironing do no t have to be ironed immedia tely after bei ng tumble-dri ed.
It is a good ide a to fold or roll them togeth er for a while , so that any remaining mo isture
isâevenly dist ributed.
To achieve good drying performance, dry quilt covers, terry towels or other large textile items
individually. T erry towels no t more than 4 pieces (or 3 k g)
.
Before using for th e first time
Do not put any laundry in the washer dryer. Turn on the tap, pour ½ measuring cup of detergent
into compartme nt
II. Set the Fluf f Clean 40 °C p rogramme and select Sta rt/Reload. At
the end of the programme, set the progr amme selector to Off.
Laundry with di fferent degrees of soiling

Soaking
Load laundry of the same colour.
Pour soaking a gent/deterg ent into compa rtment II accord ing to the man ufacturer's
instructions. Set Cotto ns 30 °C program me and select Start/Reloa d. After approx. 10
minutes, select Start/Reloa d. After the required soaking time, reselect Start/Reload if the
programme is to be contin ued or chang e the programm e.
Starching
Laundry must not be treated with fabric soft ener.
Starching is possible in all wash programmes using liquid starch. Pour the starch into the fabric
softener compa rtment accord ing to the man ufacturer's inst ructions (if nece ssary clean it first).
Dyeing/bleaching
Dye should on ly be used in normal househo ld quantities . Salt may da mage stainl ess steel.
Always follow the dye manuf acturer's inst ructions. Do n ot bleach laundry in the washing
machine.
Outdoor+Waterproof
Laundry must not be treated with fabric soften er.
Special deter gents and imp regnating a gents suitable f or machine w ashing are ava ilable in
sports shops . Dose accordin g to manufac turer's instruc tions:
1. P lace the spec ial detergent for outdoor cloth ing in compart ment II an d
2. pou r impregnatin g agent (ma x. 170 ml) into the ~compartm ent.
Move the prog ramme selec tor to Outdoor+Waterproo f. Select temper ature.

Load the maximum amount of laundry to wash or dry for the

Wash normally soil ed laundry without prewash.
Select Cottons Ec o360°C and addition al function
Intensive to obtain good cleaning results with significantly
lower energy consumption.
Dose the deterg ent according to the manufacturer’s
instructions and water hardness.
If the laundry is then to be dried in the appliance, select the
highest selectable spin speed – because the more water that
is spun out of the appliance, the less tim e and energy isâ
required to dry it.
Keep the installation room well ventilated, clean the air inlet
filter regularly.

The default drying mode is , inâthis mode the drying time is
automatically adjusted to the load amount to obtain cupboard dried
laundry ready to fold and stack in the cu pboard. You can change
the drying mode to in order to obtain extra dry laundry, or
time dry and define the drying time by touc hing the 7Dry button.
