Button Selection Description
Remote Start ⁠  ¡ Activate
¡ Deactivate
¡ Open the
HomeConnect
menu
If you briefly press the button, the appliance will
be enabled for remote start via the HomeCon-
nect app
If you press the button for approx. 3 seconds, the
HomeConnect menu opens.
Notes
¡
For safety reasons, remote start cannot be ac-
tivated if the door is open.
¡
Remote start is deactivated for safety reasons
in the following circumstances:
– Open the door.
– Press Start/Reload .
– Press Remote Start ⁠ .
– Switch off the appliance.
– Following a power cut.
⁠ 3 sec. (Child Lock
3 sec.)
¡ Activate
¡ Deactivate
Activate or deactivate the childproof lock.
Disable the control panel to prevent unwanted or
accidental operation.
If the childproof lock is activated and the appli-
ance has been switched off, the childproof lock
remains activated.

Spin Speed Basic settings Change the basic settings for the appliance.

Prewash ¡ Activate
¡ Deactivate
Activate or deactivate prewash, e.g. for washing
heavily soiled laundry.
Water Plus ¡ Activate
¡ Deactivate
Wash with more water.
Recommended for particularly sensitive skin and
for treating laundry more gently.
Less Ironing ¡ Activate
¡ Deactivate
Activate or deactivate the reduced creasing pro-
gramme.
In order to reduce creasing in the laundry, the
spin cycle and the spin speed are adapted.
The laundry is damp enough after washing that it
needs to be hung out on a washing line.
