E.g. when moving house
Caution!
Risk of damage to the appliance
caused by detergent/fabric softener
leaking from the dispensers.
Leaking detergent/fabric softener can
prevent the appliance from working
correctly, e.g. due to damage to the
electronics.
Empty the dispensers before
transporting the appliance.
Preparatory work:
1. Turn off the tap.
2. Reduce the water pressure in the
supply hose: ~ Page 39; cleaning
and maintenance – filter in the water
supply clogged
3. Disconnect the washing machine
from the mains.
4. Drain any residual water:
~ Page 38; cleaning and
maintenance – drain pump blocked,
emergency draining
5. Remove the hoses.
6. Empty the dispensers. ~ Page 36
Fitting the transportation securing
means:
1. Remove the covers and keep them
in a safe place.
If required, use a screwdriver.
2. Insert all four sleeves.
Clip the mains cable securely in the
holders. Insert the transportation
securing bolts and tighten them with
a wrench (WAF 13).
Before switching on the appliance
again:
Notes
■ Always remove the transport braces.
■ To prevent unused detergent from
flowing straight into the drain during
the next wash: Pour approx. 1 litre of
water into compartment À Á and
start the Drain programme.
