What to do if Signateur 1500111 doesn't get hot enough?
    • D
      Darrell JohnstonAug 16, 2025
If your Signateur Grill isn't reaching the desired temperature, the LP gas tank may be empty or low and needs to be replaced or refilled. Alternatively, the flow limiting device might have been activated. Try a mini reset by turning the control knobs and LP gas tank valve to “OFF,” waiting one minute, and relighting the grill per the lighting instructions. If the flames remain too low, perform a full reset: turn off the control knobs and LP gas tank valve, disconnect the regulator from the propane tank, inspect the LP cylinder rubber seal, wait one minute, reconnect the regulator, perform a leak test on all connections, and then light the grill per the lighting instructions.

How to stop flare-ups on my Signateur 1500111 Grill?
    • L
      Lisa StanleyAug 20, 2025
Flare-ups on your Signateur Grill can be caused by grease buildup. Clean all grill parts according to the proper care and maintenance instructions. Another cause can be excess fat in the meat, so trim the fat before grilling. Also, excessive cooking temperature may cause flare-ups, so adjust to a lower temperature.

What causes a grease fire in Signateur 1500111 Grill and what to do?
    • C
      Christopher HeathAug 25, 2025
A grease fire in your Signateur Grill is often due to grease trapped by food buildup around the burner system. If this happens: 1. Turn the control knobs and LP gas tank valve to the “OFF” position. 2. Leave the lid either open or closed and allow the fire to burn out. If necessary, use a BC type fire extinguisher or baking soda, sand, or dirt to smother the fire. 3. Once the grill has cooled down, remove and clean all parts according to the “Proper Care and Maintenance” instructions.

Why is the flame yellow or orange on my Signateur 1500111?
    • K
      Katherine JohnsonAug 27, 2025
A yellow or orange flame on your Signateur Grill can be due to several reasons. If it's a new burner, it might have residual manufacturing oils; burn the grill for 15 minutes on high with the lid closed. Spider webs or insect nests in the venturi can also cause this, so clean the venturi and burner assembly. Food residue or grease can also be a cause, so clean the burner assembly. Poor alignment of the valve to the burner venturi may also be the reason; ensure the burner venturi is properly engaged with the valve.

Why does the flame blow out on my Signateur Grill?
    • J
      Jennifer CampbellSep 3, 2025
The flame on your Signateur Grill might blow out due to high or gusting winds; avoid using the grill in such conditions. It could also be due to low LP gas; replace or refill the tank. Obstructions in the burner holes may also cause this, so refer to the "Burner Assembly/Maintenance" Instructions. Additionally, the flow limiting device might have tripped; refer to the “Regulator Resetting Procedure”.

Why is there an irregular flame pattern on my Signateur Grill?
    • J
      jesseleeSep 7, 2025
An irregular flame pattern on your Signateur Grill, where the flame doesn't run the full length of the burner, is often caused by clogged or blocked burner ports. Cleaning the burner ports should resolve this issue. Also, the air shutter on the burner may need adjustment.

Why won't my Signateur 1500111 burner light?
    • D
      derrick79Nov 11, 2025
Several factors can prevent your Signateur Grill burner from lighting. It could be due to a closed LP gas tank valve. Ensure the regulator is securely attached and the valve is open. The tank might be low or empty, so check and refill if necessary. A gas leak could also be the culprit; in this case, close the valve, wait five minutes, and perform a leak test. Other potential issues include a disconnected coupling nut and regulator, an obstruction of gas flow (clean the burner assembly and check for hose kinks), an improperly seated burner, spider webs or insect nests in the venturi, clogged burner ports, a dead battery (replace it), cooking residue on wires or the electrode (clean with rubbing alcohol), wet electrode and burners (wipe dry), a cracked electrode (replace it), a loose or disc...
