Disconnect knobs by removing set screws with the provided Allen wrench.
Place the dummy spindle in the desired mounting location on the door.
Mark the locations for the mounting holes on the door.
Drill pilot holes using the appropriate drill bit for installation.
Secure the spindle to the door using the provided wood screws.
Thread the decorative escutcheon onto the dummy spindle and secure it.
Thread the door knob onto the dummy spindle.
Insert and tighten the set screw on the door knob using the Allen wrench.
Disconnect knobs from the spindle using the provided Allen wrench.
Insert the latch bolt into the side of the door.
Drill pilot holes and secure the latch bolt and faceplate with screws.
Push the latch bolt in and insert the passage spindle through the door.
Thread the decorative escutcheon onto the spindle and attach it.
Thread the door knob onto the spindle.
Place and tighten the set screw on the door knob using the Allen wrench.
Mark door frame, close door, and secure strike plate with screws.
If flush is not achieved, carefully chisel the door frame for the strike plate.
Insert the latch bolt into the side of the door.
Drill pilot holes and secure the latch bolt and faceplate with screws.
Push the latch bolt in and insert the passage spindle through the door.
Thread the exterior door knob and decorative escutcheon onto the latch bolt assembly.
Fit the interior door knob and escutcheon over the spindle, aligning screw holes.
Place and tighten the set screw on the exterior door knob using the Allen wrench.
Hand-thread and firmly tighten mounting screws through the exterior door knob.
Place and tighten the set screw on the interior door knob using the Allen wrench.
Insert the privacy pin through the interior knob into the latch bolt hole and rotate.
Mark door frame, close door, and secure strike plate with screws.
If flush is not achieved, carefully chisel the door frame for the strike plate.
Secure the strike box and strike plate to the door frame with the remaining screws.
