4.1 PREPARATION FOR PROGR AMMING
Befor e proceeding it will be necessar y to define the features of the system, then consequently the use of Vocalphone with its functi ons.
PROGRAMMING STEPS
1) Record t he vocal mess ag es and write the SMS messages c ont emplat ed i n t he s yst em.
2) Record t he repl y message (5) wit h t he op erational ins tructio ns.
3) Enter the phon e nu mbers and associate t he m to t he differ ent messages.
4) Enter the SETTING S int o t he s ys tem as required.
Attention:
1) CANCELLATION from menu SETTINGS will remove all programmings made.
2) The programmings made which have n ot been cancelle d remain stored on t he extrac table E prom loca ted at the bac k of the circuit down on
the lef t; in c ase the card should be replac ed , the E prom contai ning th e pr ogrammi ngs may be transferred to anot her card. Re placeme nt has
to be carried out after having disconnected the power supply. Only the vocal messages will have to be recorded again.
3) Types with GSM module: in stand-by conditi on the display will show (right side) the available signal.
5) DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAMMINGS PROVIDED FROM THE MENU
Remark: t ake into co nsidera tion the possible functions of the model which is used.
5.1 Menu L ISTING
It is p ossible to memorize up t o 64 ph one n umbers by NAME an d P OSITI ON, and to associ ate eac h single number t o the vocal and SMS
messages required, as well as the opportunity for direct access by calling from remote. The first available position will be assigned, but the
same may be changed by using arrows ↑↓. The numbers and their combinations may be displayed and changed by recalling them either by
name or positi on.
Position 64 – ch eck of credit l eft on SIM: o n t ypes with GSM module enter the number whic h is s upplied from the net work o perat or f or
verification o f the credit lef t on position 64: by simply pressi ng for a few seconds a call will be made t o the o perator wit h subs eq uent (voc al)
reply.
Notice:
a) Each mess ag e sent is repeat ed t wice u pon repl y of t he n umber which is called. By put ting * befor e the numbers of the listing each vocal
message sent on the GSM networ k will be repeated 4 times. In case the called number should be busy or not available the call will be
repeate d af ter 3min. for thre e ti mes.
b) The direct access allows sending of co mman ds for implementa tions, to chec k the comma nd ed outputs, a nd to chang e the pho ne numbers
(see below) without h aving to enter t he user user c od e. Attention: loss of the pho ne q ualified for access might i nvalid ate th e sec urit y o f t he
system.
5.2 Menu MESSAGES
VOCAL MESSAGES: it is possible t o record, to listen t o and to re-recor d up t o 5 voc al mess ages. The first 4 mess ag es are referred to t he 4
wire alar m-inputs, wher eas t he fift h one is us ed f or the dialler to reply to possible c alls: for this reas on it has t o provide th e us er with precise
indications regarding how to acc ess t he ambie nt listening and how to co mma nd i mple ment ations b oth by wire and b y radio.
The maximu m laps e of time for rec ording is 120 sec on ds, aut omaticall y di vided bet ween the 5 mess ag es (th e seconds are displayed during
recording). While recordi ng the messages it is necessar y to press key
SMS MESSAGES: it is p ossible to memorize and to mo dif y up t o 4 SMS messag es of 24 c harac ters, corres po nding to 4 wire al arm-inputs.
Automatic positioni ng (increasing order) mo difiabl e by means of the ↑↓ keys.
5.4 Menu SETTINGS
SETTING OF THE RELAY F OR IMPLEMENTATIONS (out TC1): the f unctio ning of the relay may be eith er impulsi ve (detec tor) wit h ti ming
programmabl e bet wee n 1 and 99 9 sec., or bist able (remot e contr ol) ON-OFF. Default func tioni ng is impulsive with a timing of 2 sec . For
modif ying th e timi ng ent er the nu mber of s econds r equired.
SETTING OF THE TC2 OUTPUT FOR IMPLEMENTATIONS: programming like the relay.
SETTING OF PSTN/GSM: it is possibl e to programme the f uncti oning of t he s ys tem with priority of the tra ditional p hone lin e and GSM in c ase of
emerg enc y (default), or with priority of GSM a nd the tra dition al phone lin e in c ase of emergenc y.
LACK OF POWER SUPPLY OR ELECTRICAL NETW ORK (depending on the supplying source): technic al SMS 2 (GSM models) or vocal
mess age 2 (models just PSTN) will signal lack of supply to all associ ated numbers after a programmable lapse of time between 1 and 99
minutes. D efault this function is not working: by ac tivating it, enter the number of minutes required.
In case th e de vic e sho uld remai n wit hout any power su ppl y e ve n for a long time, not any repr ogrammi ng has to be made e xce pt reset of d ate
and time.
PERIODICAL C ALL: technical message SMS 5 (GSM models) or vocal message 4 (models PSTN onl y) will periodically (between 1 and 999
hours) confir m existence of the s yst em t o all associated n umbers. Default t his func tion is no t wor king: b y ac tivating it, ent er the la pse of hours
required.
SIM EXPIRY: tec hnical message SMS 6 will inform all associated numbers about the expir y of the SIM at the inside of the device. Default this
functi on is not worki ng: b y acti vati ng it, enter t he nu mber of mon ths require d (between 1 and 99) f or prior n otice.
POLARITY VOCAL START: the i nput terminals of t he elec tric commands o f t he vocal messages are programmed t o wor k by op ening t he
cont act (NC line in positi ve or negati ve indepen dentl y). It is possi ble t o pr ogramme in NO modalit y.
