Why is my Silex technology Network Hardware access point not displayed in the wireless network list?
    • S
      Stephen WestAug 1, 2025
Your Silex technology Network Hardware access point might not be showing up in the wireless network list for a few reasons. First, ensure the access point is active and operating correctly. It's possible the access point is in stealth mode; if so, configure the detailed wireless network settings in the Web interface to connect. Access points in stealth mode won't appear in the list. Also, the BR-300AN can only display up to 32 wireless devices. If there are too many, use the SSID Filter to narrow the displayed networks. Even if it's not in the list, you can still connect through the detailed configuration.

What to do if I cannot access the non-wireless device connected to a LAN port of the Silex technology Network Hardware?
    • J
      Jeremy AllenAug 5, 2025
If you cannot access the non-wireless device connected to the LAN port of your Silex technology Network Hardware, first check the LED status on the BR-300AN and ensure the non-wireless device is powered on. Also, verify that the MAC address filtering isn't restricting the connection in the Network Device Address settings. If operating in Multi-Client Mode, ensure that no more than 16 non-wireless devices are connected. Finally, if the address management table feature is enabled in Multi-Client Mode, manually delete any unnecessary combinations from the 16 registered to the management table.

What to do if I failed to connect to a wireless network using Smart Wireless Setup on my Silex technology Network Hardware?
    • K
      Keith LevyAug 9, 2025
If you're having trouble connecting to a wireless network using Smart Wireless Setup on your Silex technology Network Hardware, the WPS feature may be disabled on the Access Point. Check that the Access Point supports the WPS feature and manually enable it if necessary. Also, the SSID Filter may be enabled on the BR-300AN. Disable the SSID Filter in the Web configuration interface, as Smart Wireless Setup won't work if it's enabled.

What to do if a LAN port error has occurred on my Silex technology Network Hardware?
    • J
      Julie ShermanAug 14, 2025
If a LAN port error occurs on your Silex technology Network Hardware (POWER LED blinks rapidly, WLAN LED is OFF, STATUS LED is ON), it may be because the bridge feature was aborted when a non-wireless device was unplugged and changed on the LAN port. Restart the BR-300AN to resolve this. Also, if using MAC address filtering, update the setting registered to Network Device Address. This error does not occur in Multi-Client Mode. Another potential cause is connecting multiple devices via a HUB in Single Client Mode. Only connect one device to the LAN port in Single Client Mode, or switch to Multi-Client Mode to use several devices.

What to do if the connection to the non-wireless device is lost on my Silex technology Network Hardware?
    • M
      Mark TaylorAug 17, 2025
If the connection to the non-wireless device is lost on your Silex technology Network Hardware, the connection may have timed out. If the connected non-wireless device is idle for 5 minutes, the BR-300AN will automatically cut the link. To restore the connection, initiate communication from the non-wireless device. To prevent future timeouts, enable the address management table feature on the BR-300AN or disable sleep mode on the non-wireless device.

How to delete the imported IEEE802.1X certificate on Silex technology Network Hardware?
    • D
      Darrell BauerAug 22, 2025
To delete the imported certificate on your Silex technology Network Hardware, you must initialize the BR-300AN. Note that the certificate is only validated when used and does not impact authentication if kept without being actively used.

Why I cannot connect to Silex technology Network Hardware in Ad hoc mode?
    • H
      Hannah YoungAug 27, 2025
Silex technology Network Hardware does not support Ad hoc mode. Only Infrastructure mode can be used.
