What to do if a LAN port error occurs on Silex technology BR-310AC Gateway?
    • B
      Brian ArmstrongAug 1, 2025
If you're experiencing a LAN port error with your Silex technology Gateway (POWER LED blinking rapidly, WLAN LED off, STATUS LED on), it could be due to the bridge feature being aborted because a non-wireless device was unplugged and changed on the LAN port. To resolve this, restart the Gateway. Note that this issue occurs in Single Client Mode. Alternatively, the problem could arise from connecting multiple devices via a HUB in Single Client Mode. In this case, connect only one device to the LAN port or switch to Multi-Client Mode.

Why is my Access Point not displayed on Silex technology Gateway?
    • M
      Melanie McdanielAug 6, 2025
If your Access Point isn't showing up in the Wireless Network List on the Silex technology Gateway's web configuration interface, first ensure that the Access Point is active and operating correctly. If it is operating in a stealth mode, configure the detailed settings of the wireless network at Detailed Configuration of the Web configuration interface to connect to the Access Point. Also, the Gateway can display up to 32 wireless devices. If there are too many, use the SSID Filter to narrow down the displayed networks. Even if it's not displayed, you can still connect by configuring the wireless settings in the Detailed Configuration.

How to fix access issues to non-wireless device connected to Silex technology Gateway?
    • E
      ebradshawAug 11, 2025
If you cannot access a non-wireless device connected to the LAN port of your Silex technology Gateway, first check the LED status on the Gateway and ensure the non-wireless device is powered on. Also, verify that the connection isn't restricted by MAC address filtering in the Network Device Address settings.

What to do if I fail to connect to a wireless network using Smart Wireless Setup on Silex technology BR-310AC Gateway?
    • A
      Adriana CampbellAug 16, 2025
If you're unable to connect to a wireless network using Smart Wireless Setup on your Silex technology Gateway, the WPS feature may be disabled on the Access Point. Check that the Access Point supports WPS and manually enable it if necessary. Additionally, the SSID Filter may be enabled on the Gateway; disable it in the Detailed Configuration of the web interface, as Smart Wireless Setup won't work with the SSID Filter enabled.

Why does the connection to the non-wireless device keep getting lost on Silex technology BR-310AC Gateway?
    • J
      Janet BaldwinAug 22, 2025
If the connection to your non-wireless device is lost when using a Silex technology Gateway, it might be due to a timeout. The Gateway automatically cuts the link if the device is idle for 5 minutes. To restore the connection, initiate communication from the non-wireless device. To prevent future timeouts, disable sleep mode on the non-wireless device.

How to delete an imported IEEE802.1X certificate on Silex technology BR-310AC Gateway?
    • O
      ofernandezAug 27, 2025
To delete an imported IEEE802.1X certificate on the Silex technology Gateway, you need to initialize the Gateway. Note that the certificate is only validated when it is in use and does not impact the authentication process if kept without being used with a compatible authentication method.
