→ Fill the cooker 2/3rds with water
and add 2–3 tablespoons of vinegar.
→ Boil the vinegar water in the cook-
ware for approx. 5–10 minutes.
→ Then rinse all parts thoroughly by
hand.
→ Wipe the thermometer with a
damp cloth.
Instructions for use
→ Opening the lid after cooking re-
leases hot water vapour which can
cause scalding. To avoid this, lift
the lid on the rear side first so the
steam can escape away from your
body (see fig.).

→ To take out the insert, lift the lid on
the rear side first. Remove the insert
using the handles. Use pan holders,
etc. as the insert gets hot.
→ Use the highest heat setting for
heating up only. Turn the heat
down in good time and cook food
over a lower heat.
→ To avoid scratching the cookware
and hob, always pick the ecompact
round up when using it on a glass
ecompact round
