Replacing the battery (Fig. C)
WARNING! Observe the following instructions to avoid
mechanical and electrical damage.
Danger!
Remove the battery protector (11) from the battery compartment
before using the product for the first time�
You can replace the battery if it stops working�
1� Open the battery compartment cover (12) with a screwdriver�
2� Remove the flat battery from the battery compartment (13)
and replace it with a new battery�
Note: pay attention to the plus/minus poles of the battery and
to its correct insertion� The battery must be completely inside the
battery compartment�
3� Close the battery compartment cover (12) again�

Weighing
1� Open the clasp (4) and thread the strap (5) through the han-
dle of the piece of luggage� Close the clasp (4) again�
2� To switch on the product, press the ‘T/ON’ button (2) before
lifting the piece of luggage� The strap (5) must not be taut
when at this point�
Note: the weight should appear on the LC display (1) as
‘0�00kg’�
Note: press the ‘U/Set’ button (3) to change between kg, lb, oz
and g�
