Place the measuring
head directly against
your temple with the
forehead/cover cap

attached.
Press and hold the MEASURE button

and
guide the multi-purpose thermometer steadily
across the forehead to the other temple.
Then release the
MEASURE button

The measured value
appears on the display
and the end of the
measuring process is indicated by a short beep
(when the key tone is activated). When the measure-
ment type symbol stops flashing, the next measure-
ment can be taken. This takes approx. 5 seconds.
If the measured value lies within the normal range
(< 38 °C (100.4 °F)), the LED above the display
lights up green for 3 seconds. If the measured
value is higher than this (≥ 38 °C (100.4°F =
fever)), the LED will light up red.
If you have activated Bluetooth
®
data transfer, the
data will be transferred after the measurement.
The thermometer displays the symbol for Bluetooth
®
during transfer.
Note: The “HealthForYou“ app must be activated
for transfer to occur. If the current data is not dis-
played on your smartphone, repeat the transfer
