Switching the appliance on/off
♦ Plug the power plug into a mains socket.
♦ Press and hold the
On/Off button 5 for about two seconds to switch on the appliance.
A beep sounds, and the operating indicator 1 lights up continuously in white.
♦ Press the
On/Off button 5 to switch off the appliance. A beep sounds, and the
operating indicator 1 goes out.
Note: The appliance switches off automatically after approx. 20 minutes to avoid
overheating. Let the appliance cool down for about 10 minutes before switching it on
again.
♦ Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket when you are no longer using the appliance.
Selecting a mode and intensity level
Note: The appliance is in mode 1 and intensity level 1 when switched on.
♦ Press the mode selector button 2 to change the mode.
Mode Function
Mode 1 Continuous pulse
Mode 2 1 pulse per second
Mode 3 1–2 pulses per second
Mode 4 2–3 pulses per second
Mode 5 Combination of modes 1–4
♦ Press the button 3 to increase the intensity level.
♦ Press the
button 4 to decrease the intensity level.
Note: (1) The appliance offers 5 intensity levels in each of the 5 modes. (2) Each time
the mode or intensity level is changed, a beep sounds. (3) Start in mode 1 and with
intensity level 1, as preset, to avoid unpleasant feelings or pain. When you find the
treatment satisfactory and you are familiar with how to use the appliance, you can
switch to a higher intensity level and to another mode.
