The SilverCrest Mini Chopper SMZ 260 B1 is a versatile kitchen tool designed for processing small quantities of boneless foodstuffs and whipping cream. It is intended exclusively for private household use, emphasizing adherence to all safety instructions provided in the manual.
Function Description
The Mini Chopper is primarily used for chopping various boneless foodstuffs and whipping cream. It features a motor block with a turbo button for increased processing speed. The appliance operates by placing the food in a bowl, securing it with a lid, and then attaching the motor block. Pressing the motor block downwards initiates normal operating speed, while simultaneously pressing the turbo button engages a higher speed for more intensive processing.
For chopping, the appliance utilizes a blade holder with a sharp knife. Users are advised to cut larger pieces of food into smaller, approximately 2cm pieces, especially for hard foods, to prevent the motor from blocking. Pulsating processing (repeatedly pressing the turbo button for short durations) is recommended for hard foodstuffs. If contents accumulate on the bowl wall, the motor block can be lifted, the bowl shaken, and processing resumed.
For whipping cream, a whisk attachment is used. The whisk attachment is placed onto the blade holder. For 100ml of cream, it rests on two blades, while for 200ml, it is turned 180° to rest on a single blade, allowing it to plough higher through the cream. Cream should be well chilled (max 8°C) for optimal whipping results. Recommended whipping times are 30 seconds for 100ml and 30-50 seconds for 200ml at normal speed, though these can vary based on factors like fat content and ambient temperature.
