Connecting to the Internet via a router
After the PowerLAN adapter has been set up as described in the previous chapter
proceed as follows when using a router:
 Check that DHCP is activated on your router. For further details, please read
your router's user manual.
 Turn your computer on.
 Click on Start | Control Panel | View network status and tasks
(Network and Sharing Center) | Local Area Connection |
Properties | Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) |
Properties.
 Select Obtain an IP address automatically and click on OK.
 Then close all opened windows.
