Charging

NOTE: Before the device is used for the first

time, and during the following three charg-

ing procedures, the device should be

charged for 90 minutes in each case.

1. Switch off the device with the on/off

switch9 if necessary.

2. Connect the power unit19 to the con-

nection14 at the device.

3. Insert the power unit19 into a readily

accessible wall socket whose voltage

matches the voltage stated on the rating

plate.

4. The plug symbol11 is lit red and the

battery is charged. When the battery is

fully charged, 100% is displayed.

When the battery is fully charged, the

device can be used for approximately

60 minutes without being connected to

the power supply.

Operation

Before switching on for the first

time

CAUTION:

~ After unpacking, there could still be oil

residues on the shaving heads4 of the

shaving attachment5. Remove these

with an absorbent, lint-free cloth before

using the device for the first time.

Regardless of the charging state of the bat-

tery, the rotary shaver can always be used

in mains operation.

1. Before switching to mains operation,

ensure that the device is switched off.
