7. Setting up the device, fi rst use
Place the device on a sturdy, level surface. Make sure that the device
is not exposed to intense sources of heat; the device is not exposed to
direct sunlight; the device does not come into contact with liquids, not
even water droplets or spray.
 Plug the device mains plug into an easily accessible power socket.
 Fully unwind the aerial and align as required.
7.1. Storing stations automatically
 Press the button to switch on the device.
 Press and hold the
button. The search is performed and all
stations found are stored.
8. Operating the device
The detailed user manual contains in-depth information on
how to use the device.
 Press the
button to switch on the device or to switch back into
standby mode.
 Press to increase the volume or to decrease the volume.
 Press and hold
to perform a station search.
 Press  or  to select a station.
