Refer to the front I/O layout for connector information.
Connect the +5V and 12V power cable to FP35 for 3.5" external storage.
Refer to external storage user guide for attaching FP35 power cable connector. Includes +12V DC, mini Din 6P, mini Din 4P.
Remove the FP35 from its retail box.
Remove both side panels of your computer chassis to access interior.
Remove the cover for the 3.5" device bay.
Secure the FP35 unit within the chassis using the included screws.
Install the FP35 unit into your computer chassis.
Connect the HD AUDIO cable (or A97) to the motherboard.
Connect the USB connector to your motherboard.
Insert and route cables neatly into the 3.5" device bay.
Connect the SATA cable to your motherboard.
Connect the 1394 connector to your motherboard.
Connect the 4-pin power cable for 3.5" external storage.
Reinstall chassis side panels to complete the FP35 installation.
