C2 - QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ABOUT SOME PROBLEMS

Focusing is not possible Slide originally unsharp. Check your slides.
Setting of the first focus not correct - Wrong lens See §A5.
Projector too much close from screen Fit another lens
“21 & 22” Leds flash alternatively Slide blocked into the slide-changer or defective tray. Take off the tray, then the slide.
When you select “U” mode, an adapted cable must be connected to the 12 pin
plug, otherwise “U” and “DRA, S, K” LED’s will flash alternatively.

The panel has 4 LEDs which give information on the projector status.
(31) Square LED (red) ..............: lights on to every slide change
(32) Round LED (green) ..........: Zero tray position
(33) “L2” LED (yellow) .........: it indicates when the safe Lamp 2 is
working. When it is flashing, it means that
lamp 2 has failed.
(34) “I” LED (yellow) ..........: RS 232 transmission
NOTE: When the slide change is not possible, “DRA/K” and “S/U” flash
alternatively, indicating the projector malfunction.
LED (31) red light on: the tray is stopped
LED (32) green light on: jammed slide
LED (33) L2 light on: “memory” problem on the electronic board.
C1 - USEFUL ADVICE
SIMDA projectors require a minimum of maintenance.
In terms of using conditions (dusty and moist surroundings) a testing made by an approved specialist is recommended every 1500 hours.
