APPENDIX B
CDT PERIPHERAL SWITCH SETTINGS
The addresses for all CDT monitor devices are set in the same way. Refer to Table B-l for monitor ZAMilAM
address settings.
The addresses for all CDT control devices are set in the same way. Refer to Table B-2 for control/signal ZAM
address settings.
Note:
You will notice that Table B-2 begins with device number 128 and ends with device number 65 (64 possible
control devices per CDT panel). This numbering scheme exists because of the way in which the CDT panel’s
internal memory is laid out. Thus, the first control device on a MAPNET”- as far as addressing is
concerned - wi!l “occupy” the 128th position in CDT memorN the second control device will “occupy” the
127th position in CDT memory, etc.
If you look at Figure B-l below, you can see that monitor point addressing begins at the “bottom” of CDT memoy,
while control point addressing begins at the “top” of CDT memory.
