5. Apply grease to the fulcrum arm and install new
packing.
6. Install the fulcrum arm into the case.

7. Install the washer and nut on the fulcrum shaft. Snug
the nut but do not tighten at this point.

8. Apply grease to the control shaft and install new
packing.
9. Install the torsion spring as shown, and install the
control shaft into the transaxle case.
10. Install the retaining ring on the control shaft on the
outside of transaxle
