HOW TO REMEDY
WHEN CARRIAGE IS
HEAVY TO OPERATE

Causes
(1) Too
much
dust on the sliding surfaces, such
as Carriage Pipe,
Slider,
Cams, etc.
(2)
Lack of
lubricant on
sliding
surfaces.

Remedy
For the cause (1)
Wipe clean
the sliding surfaces with oil
damped cloth to apply oil on
them.
For the cause
(2).
Apply oil on
Needle Butts
and move the
Carriage
back and forth a
few times.
Apply a
few drops
of oil on
Rail and move
Carriage back
and forth a few
times.
