the Right Tension
A perfect seam is strong, flat and
smooth. To make a perfect seam
the tension on your thread must be
just right. Tension is adjusted by
turning the tension thumb nut.
If your stitching looks like this,
make it tighter by turning the
tension thumb nut to the right.
If your stitching looks like this,
make it looser by turning the
tension thumb nut to the left.
When your seam looks like this,
the tension is just right.
