- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Never touch the hot parts of the appliance, i.e., the heating plate or the carafe. Only touch the
plastic parts and move the carafe by its handle.
- The steam evaporating from the coffee fi lter is hot. Danger of burns.
- The coffee prepared is hot. Handle with care the carafe to avoid any risk of hot splashes.
- Never put the carafe in any oven (includes microwave oven) to warm up the coffee.
- Never clean the carafe in a dishwasher.
- Before cleaning or storing the appliance, make sure it has cool down.
- The partial or total non-respect of the safety instructions in the present instruction manual will
automatically release Singer of any type of responsibility in case of malfunction of the machine
or injuries to persons or animals.
- In case of manipulation, repairing or any modifi cation of the machine made by unqualifi ed
persons or in case of improper use, the guarantee will be automatically cancelled.

FIRST TIME USE
Before using the coffee maker for fi rst time, it is advisable to wash the appliance using two cups
of white vinegar, by following the normal brewing procedure without using any coffee powder.
