How do I stop thread bunching at the beginning when using my Singer SUPERA Sewing Machine?

To resolve thread bunching at the beginning of sewing with your Singer Sewing Machine, ensure that both the top thread and the bobbin thread are under the presser foot and toward the back before starting to sew. Place fabric under the foot, making sure that the needle comes down into the fabric; lightly hold both thread tails for the first few stitches. Place stabilizer underneath fabric, if needed.
