Filling Instructions:
Do not plug the unit in until you have fi lled the Water Tank
1. Set the appliance on a steady work surface
2. Unlock the Locking Knob
3. Raise the Pressing Plate
4. Filling the Water Tank: You can use either tap water or distilled water for
irons.
Depending upon the lime scale level of your tap water. Slide the Water Tank
forward (Fig. 1) using the fi lling container, pour water into the tank; slide the
Water Tank back into the unit
Note: To maintain your steam press in a good condition SINGER suggest for
every liter of water to use 700ml of distilled water mixed with 300ml tap water.
Operation Instructions
1 Turn the power to the “on” position (Fig. 2)
2. Identify the type of fabric you will press and then select the temperature
setting that matches the fabric to be pressed. It is best to start with the most
delicate fabrics fi rst, as higher heat will cause damage to Nylon and Silks
(Fig. 3)
3. The press is ready for use when the Ready Light turns off. If pressing
cottons and linens steam burst will be available when the Steam Indicator
Light illuminates.
4. Do not activate the burst of steam when the unit is completely closed. Best
results are obtained if the press is held slightly open before activating the
burst of steam.
