To
produce valves wi
th
a smooth,
accurate
finish
, wet
grind
all valves. Wet
grinding
also reduces wheel wear and
the
need
to
redress
the
grinding
wheel.
Keep
the
chuck
clean.
It
is advisable
to
place a
rubber
sh
ield on valve stem when

prevent

Avoid splashing

coolant

sufficient
to keep_
the
valve cool.
