Changing
Chucks
Before removing chuck, tension
must
be
removed from
the chuck belt. First remove spring tension
by
pulling out-
ward
on
the
spring handle and then raise the gear motor
platform
by
jacking up with adjusting screw.
An
access door
is
provided
on
the
left
hand side
of
the
machine
to
aid
the
removal and installation of the belt.
The large capacity chuck should
be
driven
by
the small
diameter pulley and the small capacity chuck should
be
driven
by
the
large diameter pulley.
Be
sure
that
the jacking screw has been completely re-
leased and
the
spring tension applied
after
the
new chuck
has been installed.
