Hydraulic Steering (Option)
Maintenance of the steering system varies with usage and climate and
should be inspected by a qualified marine mechanic at least twice a year or
at the first sign the steering system is not operating normally.
To check the oil level, remove the steering fluid fill cap. The oil level should
be within 1/2 inch of the bottom of the filler hole. Refer to the manufactur-
er’s literature for more information on maintenance.
FISH AND SKI BOATS
Failure to comply with steering maintenance checks may result in loss of
steering which may cause an accident with injury or death.
